Concentration & Wisdom • A Special Weekend Course & Silent Retreat • 22-28 Sep
Fri 22 Sep - Thu 28 Sep

Location
Monbulk: Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia
25 McCarthy Rd

With concentration our mind becomes bright and clear like a cloudless sky, and we naturally experience a deep inner strength and mental stability. Through it, the pain and turbulence of craving naturally declines and it is easy to remain content. It is said that pure concentration gives us the freedom to accomplish whatever we wish for, whereas without it we are a slave to our delusions.

Senior teacher and experienced meditator Gen Kelsang Rabten will give clear, step-by-step instructions on how to focus and strengthen the mind. By practising these instructions, we enjoy increasingly peaceful and refined levels of consciousness and inner power. Over this weekend, Gen Rabten will start us on a meditative journey that culminates in realising the greatest truth of our reality – that it is just a dream.

Following the course take a rare opportunity to transform your own mind into the bliss of meditative concentration and journey deeper into the dream-like nature of reality. Gen Kelsang Dornying will guide a 4-day silent retreat in which we can harness the power of a still mind to enter the world of limitless possibility.
