with Buddhist nun Kelsang Luma
Monbulk: Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia
25 McCarthy Rd
Day Course • Sat 19 May
We are alive therefore we will die. This is the simplest, most obvious truth. Contemplating our own mortality leads to a profoundly worry-free and happy life. By cutting through our worldly concerns the meditation on death quickly eliminates all our ordinary worries and anxieties.
On this day course Kelsang Luma will explain the meditation on death and how it destroys our desirous attachment, thereby leading us to an enjoyable and successful spiritual life.
Day Retreat • Sun 20 May
Following the day course those who wish to can enjoy a day of retreat. Take the meditation on impermanence deeper into your heart, allowing it to leave a powerful impression on your mind and your life.
The teacher of this course and retreat is Buddhist nun Kelsang Luma. Luma is the Resident Teacher of Maitreya Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Adelaide. She is well loved for her joy and humility. Her joyful energy and uplifting teachings make meditation and Buddhism accessible to all.
