Faith: How to Rely Upon a Spiritual Guide | Sat 17 Feb
Saturday 17 February · 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

Monbulk: Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia
25 McCarthy Rd

If we wish to solve all our problems and make our human life meaningful, we need to begin and make progress along a spiritual path. The root of this spiritual path is the mind of faith: a pure mental attitude that sees beyond this ordinary world and limited self, and aspires to emulate the enlightened qualities of an authentic Spiritual Guide.

On this special day course Gen Dornying will explain how we can confidently find and then rely upon a qualified Spiritual Guide, a ‘Guru’, with strong faith. By aligning our intentions with our Guru’s intention, all of our confusion about Dharma will disappear, we will become a good-natured person with a good heart, and the powerful blessings of all enlightened beings will flow into our mind. With our mind empowered by our Guru’s blessings we will fulfil all of our wishes, and swiftly and joyfully traverse the spiritual path to the pure happiness of enlightenment.

The teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Dornying, the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia. He has been teaching Kadam Dharma for over 14 years. He is an inspiring and light-hearted teacher of modern Buddhism who makes Buddha’s teachings clear, accessible and applicable to modern life.
